Intercultural Communication

Communicating in good English is no longer enough. You need to be aware of the cultural underpinnings that influence how people from different countries and cultures communicate.

Become aware of your own cultural communication style and then learn to recognize the differences between your own style and those of your international business partners. Learn how to adapt and communicate in a way that is cognizant and sensitive to these cultural differences. Modules of study include:

  • Understand yourself and your own culture of communication. Becoming aware of who you are and how you communicate is the first step.
  • Learn how you can develop your intercultural communication skills.
  • Handle first meetings effectively.
  • Manage diversity and inclusion effectively
  • Develop clear spoken communication
  • Key considerations for working in an international team
  • Communicating clearly in emails.
  • Meetings across cultures
  • Negotiations across cultures
  • Presentations across cultures
  • Managing and resolving conflict

You can choose which modules you would like to focus on for your particular needs and area of work. Flexible timetable to suit your busy schedule. Courses are between 12-24 hours long, depending on your availability.
